Trees planted on the roof of the head office building

Trees were planted on the roof of the head office building in 2009 to mitigate the urban heat-island phenomenon and to reduce CO2 emissions through lower consumption of electric energy. At the same time, vegetable gardens are provided to grow fruits and vegetables to raise awareness of the employees toward environmental contributions.

Eco-Friendly KPP Yaesu Building

The KPP Yaesu Building, an office building in downtown Tokyo for renting, has achieved a reduction of CO2 emissions of about 32% compared with ordinary office buildings in terms of the standard for energy saving calculations set by Tokyo Metropolis. The reduction has been achieved through the installation of solar power panels, efficient air-conditioning and lighting systems, and full-scale introduction of LED lighting in office zones.

Eco-friendly Transportation

We are making an effort to reduce the environmental impact imposed by distribution of its products by concentrating warehouses at its operations, promoting planned delivery of its products, and improving the load efficiency through the use of joint loading service and joint delivery service.
